means the measure of how to spread out the numbers are
So,
standard deviation is/are most likely:

In order for you to find out the standard deviation of this particular problem (or problems of standard deviation) you had
to work out for the mean,
meaning to simplify the averages of each and every number, then you would have to
subtract your mean and your square for the outcome
Nextly,
workout your mean for those squared for your differences..
Lastly
take whatever your square of that number and keep it as your result/ outcome
