x1/2= -b +- (root of) (b^2 -4ac) /2a
a=3 b=-11 c=-42
x1/2= -(-11) +- (root of) 11^2 -4×3×(-42)/2×3
x1/2= 11 +- (root of) 121 +504 /6
x1/2= 11 +- (root of) 625 /6
x1/2= 11 +- 25 /6

x1= 11+25/6 =36/6 = 6
x2= 11-25 /6 = 14:2/6:2 =7/3
