V = 1/3 B * H where B is the area of the base and H is the height

to find the base , we find the area

B = s^2 where s is the side length

so

V = 1/3 s^2 *H

V = 1/3 * 11^2 * 12

V = 1/3 * 121 * 12

V = 484 cm^3

Choice B
