SOLUTION:

1 minute = 60 seconds

1 second = 1 metre

1 × 60 = 1 × 60

60 seconds = 60 metres

1 minute = 60 metres

Therefore, the horse can gallop / travel 60 metres in 1 minute.

Hope this helps! :)

Answer: The distance traveled by boat is 60 meters.

Step-by-step explanation:

Speed is defined as the ratio of distance traveled to the time taken.

To calculate the distance traveled by boat, we use the equation:

\text{Speed of the boat}=\frac{\text{Distance traveled}}{\text{Time taken}}

We are given:

Speed of the horse = 1 m/s

Time taken = 1 mins = 60 s (Conversion factor: 1 min = 60 s)

Putting values in above equation, we get:

1m/s=\frac{\text{Distance traveled by horse}}{60s}\\\\\text{Distance traveled by horse}=(1m/s* 60s)=60m

Hence, the distance traveled by horse is 60 meters.
