y = 0.5x - 3

Explanation- If you look at (0,-3) following along the point you would get (1,-2.5). This means that on the number line everytime you go one place value to the right, it increases by 0.5

The formula is y = mx + b when b = y-intercept and m is the slope.

Slope = Rise/Run So 1/2.

Y-Int. = The y value at which x = 0. Which is -3

The line has the formula:

Y = 1/2x - 3
