Let x represent the number of packages of carrots and let

y represent the number of bags of grapes.

Use ≤ for “at most”.

Total cost of carrots plus total cost of grapes is at most $8.25 .

2x + 0.75y ≤ 8.25

Solve the inequality for y.

2x + 0.75y ≤ 8.25

0.75y ≤ -2x + 8.25

y ≤ -8/3x + 11

Hope this helps. c;
