Why might reading a product review be a good idea before purchasing a product?

Great question! Well reading a product review is probably a good idea before purchasing a product because you can get a good idea of the items quality by getting the opinion of others. If there are good comments (don't just read the first few because they could be fake comments!) that means other people have bought and used this item and they have approved the quality as being a good. product. If you see bad reviews then I wouldn't recommend buying the product because the quality of the item doesn't seem to be approved by lots of people. Hoped this answered you question! :)

This is a good question! Knowing what others think about a product is very helpful before purchasing it. Also knowing the rating is good too. For example I bought a dress off of Amazon and I never looked at the ratings before I bought it, and once I got it in the mail...It looked NOTHING like the picture.
