Hello.

Here's our explanation: First, you subtract by
(1)/(3) both sides of an equation, which it gives us
a+(1)/(3)- (1)/(3)> (1)/(2)- (1)/(3). Finally, simplify, which is equal to →
a>(1)/(6).

Answer:
a>(1)/(6)

Hope this helps!

Thanks!

First you must make each fraction have a common denominator so you can add/subtract them. Times each by a number that is equal to one so it does not change the value of the equation.

1/2*3/3=3/6

1/3*2/2=2/6

Now you have a + 2/6 > 3/6

Then subtract 2/6 from 3/6

a > 1/6

This is the answer
