Explanation:

Given,

a line passing through two points ( -2,2) and ( -2,-3).

We need to use two pint line equation:

y - y1 = (y2 - y1 / x2 - x1 ) (x - x1 )

Here , x1 = -2 ,x2 = -2 , y1 = 2 and y2 = -3

So we can plug corresponding values in the line equation.

We get: y - 2 = {(-3 - 2) / ( -2 - (-2))} (x - (-2))

y - 2 = (-5 /0 ) (x + 2)

0 * (y - 2) = -5 (x+2)

0 = -5x - 10

10 = -5x

x = -10/5 = -2

Hence x= -2 is the equation of line shown in the graph.
