Make like denominators and compare the fractions.

16/20 is one fraction so make the other fraction have 20 as the denominator also. To do that multiply 5 by 4 to get 20. To keep everything even multiply the top number of 4 by 4 also getting 16.

So 16/20 and 16/20 are both fractions having the denominators the same. Therefore these fractions are equal to each other.
