How can you find discounts and markups efficiently? Give examples of each. Needed ASAP if possible, thank you :)

example problem: 280 with 80% discount:

subtract 100% with 80% = 20% (quick maths)

turn the percent to decimal

20% = 0.20

multiply

280 x 0.20

final answer: 56

the markup is the same process..just add the 100% instead of subtract
