-10p+9=12
-9 -9
-10p=3

P=3/-10 or -0.3

First, move the constant (+9) to the right side of the equation and change the sign:
-10p=12-9
Then, subtract 12 by 9 to get 3:
-10p=3
Finally, divide both sides of the equation by -10:
p= -3/10 or -0.3
Your answer is
p= -3/10 OR
p= -0.3
