The slope-intercept form:

y=mx+b

m - slope

b - y-intercept

We have the slope m = 4 →
y=4x+b

and point (1, 6). Substitute:

6=4(1)+b

6=4+b subtract 4 from both sides

2=b\to b=2

Answer: y = 4x + 2
