"55x" shows that she has to pay $55 a month and the "+80" is a one time fee to open a membership

Obviously her monthly fee is $55, because the x represents how many months. With the 80, it would be the one-time fee.

I'll show an example if she's been there for 6 months:

55(6) + 80

330 + 80

= 410

So, it would be $410 after she has been there for six months.

Hope this helps!
