slope of the line would be 1-5/21-9 which is equal to -4/12 or -1/3

The slope of the line would be 1/3 because if you put those two coordinates in the table then you can see the the difference between 5 and 1 is 4 and the difference between 9 and 21 is 12 then do 4 divided by 12 and you get 1/3 for your slope.
