1.) In 3x + 2y = 12, let x = 0. Then 2y = 12 or y = 6, making the y-intercept

(0, 6). Secondly, let y = 0 in 3x + 2y = 12. Then 3x = 12 or x = 4, making

the x-intercept (4, 0).
