In order to determine if this is a function:
The vertical line test. On a graph or an equation that is graphed, look through the vertical lines (up and down) if none of the points on the graph hit each other, then you know it is a function as there are different outputs.
On the chart, if you see that the x value twice/ repeating then it means it is not a function. Example would be (2,0) and (2,3) due to being graphed would be on top of another.
