Amount of flour Helena accidentally poured
=5(1)/(6) =(31)/(6) cups of flour.

Amount of flour the cake requires
=3(1)/(2) =(7)/(2) cups of flour.

Amount of flour that Helena should take out
=(31)/(6) - (7)/(2)

=(31)/(6) - (7 * 3)/(2* 3)

=(31)/(6) - (21)/(6)

=(31-21)/(6)

=(10)/(6)

=(5)/(3)

=1(2)/(3) cups of flour.
