Solution, (1)/(6)+(2)/(3)+(1)/(4)=(13)/(12)\quad \left(\mathrm{Decimal:\quad }\:1.08333\dots \right)

Steps:

(1)/(6)+(2)/(3)+(1)/(4)

\mathrm{Least\:Common\:Multiplier\:of\:}6,\:3,\:4:\quad 12

\mathrm{Adjust\:Fractions\:based\:on\:the\:LCM},\\(2)/(12)+(8)/(12)+(3)/(12)

\mathrm{Since\:the\:denominators\:are\:equal,\:combine\:the\:fractions}:\quad (a)/(c)\pm (b)/(c)=(a\pm \:b)/(c),\\(2+8+3)/(12)

\mathrm{Add\:the\:numbers:}\:2+8+3=13,\\(13)/(12)

The\:Correct\:Answer\:Is\:(13)/(12)

Hope\:This\:Helps!!!

The LCD here is 12. Th,us, 1/6, 2/3 and 1/4 become:

2/12, 8/12 and 3/12.

Their sum is 13/12, or 1 1/12.
