X-intercept means your y value will be zero just a y-intercept means your x-value is zero.

So the point where the line intersect with the other is at (0,4) cause remember the x has to be zero and the why is at four cause its where the line meets.

The x intercept is where the line meets the x axis. In this grid, the line meets the x axis on the point (-8,0). So the answer is D. (-8, 0)
