Complete the expression so it forms a perfect-square trinomial.

To make perfect square trinomial we use completing the square method

In completing the square method, we take the coefficient of x

divide it by 2 and then square it

the coefficient of x is -5

divide it by 2 ,
(-5)/(2)

then square it ,
(-5)/(2)^2=(25)/(4)

x^2-5x+(25)/(4)

(25)/(4) makes a perfect square trinomial
