16.
A = (1)/(2) bh

Multiple 2 on both sides to get rid of the 1/2

2A = bh

Divide "h" on both sides to get "b" by itself

(2A)/(h)  = b

19. PV = nRT

Divide "nR" on both sides to get "T" by itself, or you can divide each variable one at a time

(PV)/(n) = RT

(PV)/(nR) = T

22. PV = nRT

Divide "nT" on both sides to get "R" by itself, or you can divide each variable one at a time

(PV)/(nT) = R

25. ax + r = 7

Subtract "ax" on both sides to get "r" by itself

r = 7 - ax

28. y = 3x + 3b

Subtract 3x on both sides

y - 3x = 3b

Divide 3 on both sides to get "b" by itself

(y)/(3) - x = b or
\frac{1} {3} y - x = b
