What were the consequences of the Dawes act and how did it reflect the Americanization movement?

The consequences were disease, and many Native Americans lost their homes and they got stripped of their culture and beliefs. They did not go along with the "white: way of life, although they couldn't go back to their own either. It impacted us by the death, and the fail of the entire plan.
