Now that I'm in third grade, I am able to participate in a new competition called Science Olympiad. In Science Olympiad, students compete in different events that are science-based and try to win points for their teams and medals for themselves as individuals. Science Olympiad has many different events, but I think I'm going to try my best in two different events: Disease Detectives and Magnetic Power. Which sentence provides the best conclusion to the paragraph? A) Even if I don't win a medal, I'm sure I'll have lots of fun and learn a lot about science. B) My mother said that she used to do Science Olympiad back when she was in elementary school. C) People say you have to be good at math to do Science Olympiad, but I don't think that's true. D) Coach Clark is the head of our school's Science Olympiad team, but there are many helper teachers too.

Answer:

A) Even if I don't win a medal, I'm sure I'll have lots of fun and learn a lot about science.

Step-by-step explanation:

A) Even if I don't win a medal, I'm sure I'll have lots of fun and learn a lot about science.

Option A will be the final conclusion because the Author rightly stated that She thinks she wants to try her best to prepare for two events in the competition. Her statement does not depict someone who wants to go all out to win, but someone who wants to try a thing for the excitement/ the records.
