$Method\ 1:$

$(1)/(3)=(1\cdot5)/(3\cdot5)=(5)/(15)\\\\(3)/(5)=(3\cdot3)/(5\cdot3)=(9)/(15)\\\\(3)/(15) < (9)/(15)\ therefore\ (3)/(5)\ is\ bigger$

$Method\ 2:$

$(1)/(3) < (1)/(2)=(1.5)/(3)\\\\(3)/(5) > (1)/(2)=(2.5)/(5)\\\\therefore\ (3)/(5)\ is\ bigger$
