Hi There:

Slope Intercept Form: y = 3x + -2 (y = mx + b)

Standard Form -3x + y = 2 (Ax + By = C)

Hope This Helps :)

standard form is ax+by=c

we are given that slope is 3 and y intercept is -2

we can use slope-intercept which is y=mx+b where m=slope and b=y-intercept

so or slope=3=m and y-intercept=-2=b, we get

y=3x-2

now get into ax+by=c form

y=3x-2

minus 3x both sides

-3x+y=-2

some people like the coefient in front of x to be positive so

multiply both sides by -1

3x-y=2 i standard form
