Just do .32x=64 and then divide by .32 to get x=200 as the price before discount.

discount=amount saved

so discount/original=discount/original

32%/100%=$64/?

find ?

32/100=64/?

multiply both sides by 100*? (aka cross multiply)

32*?=64*100

32?=6400

divide both sides by 32

?=200

the price without discount is $200
