The area of the triangle is 1/2*base*height
So, 1/2*8*8
=32yd^2

\huge\text{Hey there!}

\huge\textsf{What is the area of a triangle formula?}

\mathsf{(1)/(2)* \bold{b}ase*\bold{h}eight = \bold{a}rea}

\huge\textsf{What is the answer to your question?}

\large\textsf{Let us find out the answer to this question and you should have it!}

\huge\textsf{Simplifying it:}

\mathsf{(1)/(2)* 8 * 8 = area}

\mathsf{(1)/(2)*(8)/(1)*(8)/(1) = area}

\mathsf{(1* 8 * 8)/(2* 1 * 1) = area}

\mathsf{(8*8)/(2*1) = area}

\mathsf{(64)/(2) = area}

\mathsf{32 = area}

\huge\textsf{Did we finally receive the answer to the question?}

\large\text{\boxed{\mathsf{Yes}}, we did!!}

\huge\textsf{Then, what is the answer to the question?}

\huge\text{The answer should be: \boxed{\mathsf{32 \ yds^2}}}\huge\checkmark

\huge\text{Good luck on your assignment \& enjoy your day!}
