U look at the shapes and If they are the same but in a reflection then there is your answer

Transformations are without the equation already in them but I'll tell you what I know.

So your 5th problem is a reflection.

So the main thing is starting from the left of an equation you read the transformation from a point on the graph.

so for example, the first graph, reflects across the Y axis. What makes this the most is it's all linear. So transformations are like...

2x+2 this is really hard to teach as a linear.

okay picture something like this...

√( - 4x + 2)
since the - is on the inside this means it reflects across the Y axis


- √(4x + 2)
since this is on the outside it reflects across the X axis.

try searching YTfor "understanding transformations" it's slightly confusing and I feel I'm too to teach it properly. It took me forever to understand the first I saw too so don't be discouraged.
