Answer

BH:CL. = 1:2

Explanation

It is given that,a quadrilateral ABCD, area of triangle ABD: area of triangle ACD=1:2.

Let BH is an altitude in △ABD and CL is an altitude in △ACD,

In these two triangle Ad be the base

Area of △ABD= 1/2 x AD x B

Area of △ACD = 1/2 x AD x CL

We know that Area of △ABD /Area of △ACD 1/2

[1/2 x AD x BH] /[1/2 x AD x CL] = 1/ 2

BH/CL = 1/2

BH : CL = 1:2

An example figure is attached with this answer.
