Answer: The egil get 87.5 and Frances get 112.5.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the Total shared money be x.

It is given that David, Egil and Frances share money in the ratio 2:7:9. David gets 25.

Total of the ratio is,

2+7+9=18

It means the David, Egil and Frances share
(2)/(18), (7)/(18) ,(9)/(18) of the total money.

It is also given that David get 25. So,

(2)/(18)x=25

x=225

Therefore total shared money is 225.

Egil get,

(7)/(18)x=(7)/(18)* (225)=87.5

Frances get,

(9)/(18)x=(9)/(18)* (225)=112.5

Therefore, egil get 87.5 and Frances get 112.5.
