The -4 in the original equation of point form is the slope. To achieve a perpendicular function of the original, the slope has to be a recipricol of the original slope and also the sign must also be the opposite. So the only choice that satisfies this is A. And also to confirm, the answer A equation of point form can be solved by setting both sides pertaining to x and y to 0 to determine a point which the graph will pass through.

y - 7 = 0
y = 7

x + 5 = 0
x = -5

Hence, the point the graph will pass through is (-5, 7) which confirms choice A is correct.
