Answer is : (letter A )

y+ 5= -2(x+2)

Steps:

The point in graph is (-2,-5)

Just substitute x,y and both side need to equal.

y+ 5= -2(x+2)

-5+5=-2(-2+2)

0= -2(0)

0=0

We can See that Line is Passing through the Points (-2 , -5) and (0 , -1)

Slope of a Line Passing through two points (x₁ , y₁) and (x₂ , y₂) is given by :

Slope(m) = (y_1 - y_2)/(x_1 - x_2)

here x₁ = -2 and x₂ = 0 and y₁ = -5 and y₂ = -1

Slope(m) = (-5 + 1)/(-2) = (-4)/(-2) = 2

We know that the form of line passing through point (x₀ , y₀) and having slope m is :

y - y₀ = m(x - x₀)

Here the line passes through the point (-2 , -5) and (0 , -1)

We can take any one point of the both

let us take (-2 , -5)

x₀ = -2 and y₀ = -5 and we found m = 2

Equation of the line :

y + 5 = 2(x + 2)

Option D is the Answer
