Hi there!

Righto. We know that there is a distance of 200km, you traveled at an average speed of 100 km/h, and you traveled
(3)/(5) of the way at 80 km/h. Let us put this into the equation
(80*3+2x)/(5)=100. You traveled at 80 km/h for
(3)/(5) of the way and that is therefore 80*3. First, we can start by multiply both sides by 5 to get
80*3+2x=500. After subtracting 240 from both sides(80*3=240), we get
2x=260, which equals
x=130. Therefore, you traveled at 130 km/h for the each of the last
(2)/(5) of the trip.
