The first semester of college is often a time of change. Write a minimum 200 word essay. Consider all aspects of your life that have changed such as personal and relationships, emotional, and academic as the result of you starting college. Also, include things that still need to change, or are a work in progress. Although this is a personal response, good grammar should still be used.

The only sure thing in life is change.

College is a new opportunity to grow and defines what we want to do with my life. New teachers, new friends, maybe my future the love of my life. Who knows?

I really need to be open to new things because that's what is going to teach me the lessons that are going to prepare me for life.

School subjects and classes are going to be demanding and I need to approach college more seriously than Hogh School. This doesn't mean that the party is over, but that I need to be more serious with my decisions.

From now on, I have to take into consideration the consequences of my acts. That is what is going to make me a mature student.
