a=(h)/(n)\\\\a=0.304,\ n=368\\\\\text{substitute}\\\\(h)/(368)=0.304\qquad\text{multiply both sides by 368}\\\\h=111.872\approx112\\\\Answer:\ \boxed{112\ hits}

a = average
h = number of hits
n = number of times at bat

a = h / n
0.304 = h / 368
368 * 0.304 = h
111.87 = h

The number of hits the baseball player made is 112.
