Hello from MrBillDoesMath:

Answer: - (19/5) or -3 4/5

Steps:

3 1/6 = 3 + 1/6 = 18/6 + 1/6 = 19/6

- 1 1/5 = - ( 1 + 1/5) = - (5/5 + 1/5 ) = -6/5

So 3 1/6 * (- 1 1/5) = 19/6 * (-6/5) = - 19/5 as the "6"'s cancel.

Regards, MrB.
