(8.19)/(4.20)= (819)/(420)

Simplify by 7 and by 3 (or by 21 straight away).


(819)/(420)=(819/7)/(420/7)=(117)/(60)=(117/3)/(60/3)=(39)/(20)

Your answer is
(39)/(20) or
1.95.
