here is your answer ....

g(x)=x+3

so ,

g(-5)=-5+3

Note that -5 = x, plug in -5 for x

g(x) = x + 3

g(-5) = (-5) + 3

Simplify

g(-5) = -5 + 3

g(-5) = -2

g(-5) = -2 is your answer
