Answer:

y = -4/3x + 12

Explanation:

y - y1 = m (x - x1)

the y1 and x1 are where your coordinates go. The m is the slope.

So now we just plug it in.

y - (-4) = -4/3 (x - 12)

we can clean it up some more to make it into the y = mx + b format.

y + 4 = -4/3x - (-4/3)12

y + 4 = -4/3x + 16

y = -4/3x + 12
