Should violence in the media be censored or regulated? Do you think that this would reduce crime? Why or why not?

I think violence in the media should regulate crime to the degree that they do currently. I don't think the entire world needs to know of every small crime that happens somewhere nowhere close, but they should know of major things that could have an effect on their lives, or are awful and need to be known. Although, I think the media should cover smaller crimes on smaller news channels, so the locals can know what is happening in their town. I think it may reduce more major crimes for some people who care about their public appearance, but overall I don't think it would make it reduce crime because the people who do these types of things tend to not care be it because of a mental disorder or the idea that they won't get caught.

This is a tricky question because most people would argue saying that it should be censored and other people would say it shouldn't because we need to be aware of whats actually going on in today's society which both I understand because a lot of young kids are seeing this stuff at a young age and think its all ok but this is where the parents have to teach there son or daughter whats right or wrong. I personally think it should be censored because of that simple fact people see it as a normality in life where people get harmed in anyway. Kids learn and pick up quickly parents have to learn how to keep there kids on check id say and make them understand violence is not the answer.
