Two different tennis instructors are using the same ball machine to help students practice returning lob shots.

The first instructor uses the function h to give the height of a tennis ball, in feet, when it is a horizontal distance of x feet away from the ball machine.

Please help! If you don't know the answer, please don't comment anything. I'm just trying to graduate.. Thanks.

Given thata the first instructor uses the function h to give the height of a tennis ball, in feet, when it is a horizontal distance of x feet away from the ball machine.

Now the second instructor places the ball machine on a 2-foot tall plateform. that means height of the machine is 2 feet more than the previous height of machine used by first instructor. We have to find the height g(x) for 2nd instructor which is just 2 feet more than previous height h(x).

Due to 2 feet more height, ball will achieve hieght 2 feet more than previous case.

So to find the answer, we will just add 2 into values of h(x) from first table.

Hence final answer is given by: (check attached picture)
