Answer :-

Given :-

  • Ratio of two Sides of Parallelogram ( Length and breadth) = 5 : 3

  • Perimeter of the parallelogram = 48cm

To Find :-

  • Length of each side of the parallelogram

Formula :-

Perimeter of the parallelogram = 2( length + breadth)

Solution :-

Let the length and breadth be 5x and 3x

2(5x + 3x) = 48cm

2(8x) = 48cm

x = 48/16

x = 3cm

Length = 5x = 5×3cm = 15cm

Breadth = 3x = 3×3cm = 9cm

We know that,

In parallelogram Opposite sides are equal

Hence, The sides of the Parallelogram are 15cm, 9cm, 15cm and 9cm
