The slope-intercept form:

y=mx+b

m - slope

b - y-intercept

-x-2y=-10 add x to both sides

-2y=x-10 divide both sides by (-2)

y=-(1)/(2)x+5

It's a linear function.

We need only two points to plotting a graph.

We choose any three values of x and calculate y.

\for\ x=0\to y=-(1)/(2)(0)+5=0+5=5\to(0,\ 5)\\\\for\ x=4\to y=-(1)/(2)(4)+5=-2+5=3\to(4,\ 3)\\\\for\ x=6\to y=-(1)/(2)(6)+5=-3+5=2\to(6,\ 2)
