We are given

T(t)=42-0.7t

where

T models the temperature in Quinn's home (in degrees Celsius) after t minutes

t is time in minutes

Since, we have to find rate of change of temperature

so, we will find derivative

T'(t)=0-0.7* 1

T'(t)=0.7

So, the temperature drops at a rate 0.7 degrees Celsius per minutes.........Answer
