To the percentage of something do $45 times 0.3

0.3 represents the percent of discount

When you do that you should get $13.5

$13.5 just represents the amount you are going to take away from $45, so subtract 13.5 from 45

Answer:

D. $31.5

Answer:

$31.50

Explanation:

Cost of 1 ticket = $45

The performing arts center offers tickets at 30% off the listed price.

Discount% = 30%

So, Discount =
30\% * 45

Discount =
(30)/(100) * 45

Discount =
13.5

So, Price after discount = $45-$13.5=$31.50

Hence the discounted ticket price is $31.50
