Suppose that you are an Arab merchant living in the late 7th century. You have just traveled to Mecca and Medina for business, and have met Muhammad and his followers. Write a short letter to a family member or a friend telling about your experience. In your letter, be sure to explain who Muhammad is and what he is teaching.

I have jest met mahonud and every one in our humble camp of mertannts were exicited to finally meet him. Well not everybody but you get the point. He is a rebel and he has a large group of followers who is teaching to rebel england.

To my friend,

I traveled to Makkah and Madinah for business with a few other merchants. We stayed in a camp and that is where we met Muhammad. Muhammad is the Arab religious, social, and political leader. He teaches that we should all worship only one god.

I do not know what to think about him, since only worshipping one god will lower my income greatly, but only worshipping on god would probably be easier to do than worshipping multiple gods.
