Hello!

Answer: p=-16 *The answer must be have a negative sign.*

Explanation: Addition property of equality is adding the same number to both sides of an equation it does not change the equation. First, you had to add by 6 from both sides of an equation. This gives us -6+p+6=-22+6. And then, simplify by equation form. This gives us 22-6=16, it change positive to negative sign. The final answer is p=-16 is the right answer.

Hope this helps!

Thanks!

Have a great day!
