the digits in the number add up to a number greater than 10. If I count in steps of 2, I will get this number. What is the mystery number. here are the clues 118, 96, 61, 47, 54

I think the number is 740. My reason is cause when you add them all you get 370. AND you're going in steps of 2, so multiply 370 by 2 and you get 740. Guys if I'm wrong correct me.
