Miss Sullivan was trying to teach Helen difference words, at first, Hellen thought the words were the same and she became impatient and threw the gifted doll on the floor and it was broken. At first Hellen didn't regret braking the doll due she didn't have any emotional attachment with it.

Later on she understood what she had done, and felt sorry for destroying it; Miss Sullivan tried to teach Hellen the connection between the objects and the words, Hellen then regretted the event when she learns to better associate the objects with the words.

Thereby the correct answer is (B): She realizes that it has a specific name.
